RE: Syracuse Points Race - garbaggio - 30-Sep-2013

I don't see anything wrong with the description of the 2nd dip. He clearly says "Won game one of the 2nd dip".

If you are drawn, and can't go this year or next year, it goes to waste.

Belal and Merv played D.
Jon and I on O.

We won 2 straight to make the first dip (Jon and Belal King Seat). Won game one of the 2nd dip, was up 4-3 in game 2 (I failed terribly and didn't use a time out when I had it on my 3 to end 5-3), they fought back and won 5-4, and beat us 5-3 in game three to win the second dip and take 1st.

Did you even read what you write? It looks like we won three games in the 2nd dip.

Epic way to add some excitement to a dull race.

I won't be going either - I'll be auctioning off my ticket if I end up winning.

B

Didn't think it was that confusing, but: Set 1) We won 2 straight, Set 2) We won first, you guys won games 2 and 3.

You can't auction off your ticket, its non transferable, so if you don't plan on going....

There goes all the fun...

RE: Syracuse Points Race - 5000 Years Old Man - 30-Sep-2013

damn it

yesterday I was summoned to a store (part of a major chain) I won a grand prize contest comprising 2 trips to sport events (2 for me to select out of a list -- one event is in Hawaii)

flights, local transportation, hotels, tickets, spending money, take a guest -- $ 10,000-15,000 value

did not apply, each time using the store's card constituted an entry

bad timing

trips left and right

someone up there is tempting me

what to do what to do

Syracuse?

Hawaii?

stay home?

suggestions?

anybody over 18 that would like to come?

RE: Syracuse Points Race - Jester - 30-Sep-2013

Sounds awsome Gid, which store was it from?

RE: Syracuse Points Race - garbaggio - 30-Sep-2013

Wait.. you won a trip to Hawaii?

RE: Syracuse Points Race - snakefactory - 30-Sep-2013

Holy shit.. the Pro Bowl right? That's always in Hawaii.. I can imagine that I'd like to see a couple of things in Hawaii.. local flavor even..

scratch that, that was wrong, I was trying to be flippant about the whole thing

I'm genuinely uncertain about what to do, have a few question of my own on this, but first I have to accept, fill up choices, waivers, guest etc. (guest need to do paperwork upfront as well) -- only after that I will be contacted again and can I find out more

one thing for sure, if I'm uncertain about this then Syracuse is definitively out for me -- if there was ever a doubt

not to worry, I will not end up in the first four for Syracuse, no chance of that

I've never seen the rules saying it can't be transferable, people sold their Vegas trips back in the day so why can't I sell my possible ticket?

That's the problem, dip one was 2-0 for them and dip 2 was 2-0 for us.

RE: Syracuse Points Race - Jon - 30-Sep-2013

Belal will talk about this win for over or under two years. You bet on which it is..
