Foosball Promo Day - 5barwarrior - 07-Jul-2016

Hello Foosers:

With the start of the school year fast approaching we need to start planning our fall advertising campaign. Here is what I am thinking and planning.

1) Foosball Fest - A one day promotional event/open house at Tail Gators.
- Kids event - every kid gets a prize
- Singles event - Prizes $200 in prizes
- Beat the pro for prizes - Something like race to 10 against a pro. First to get 10 - Win a Tornado, get 5 goals with a t-shirt,... That kind of idea.
- Promote the league and Friday DYP.

The plan would be to mail out flyers to the surounding neighbourhoods and Barrhaven. We can mail out 5000 flyers for about $650.

Total cost for the event - $1200 to $1500.

THIS WOULD BE AN ALL HANDS ON DECK EVENT.

2) Frosh Week Challenge - Engineering Frosh comes to Tail Gators. We need to make sure we have an event ready to snag some players. Again - beat the pro for t-shirts or something.

I'll start getting pricing info on things. If you have some ideas on what we can do for FOOS Fest - events, prizes...

Once I start getting some pricing and schedule for the prizes I'll pick a date. Thinking end of September.

Chris

Chris

How about play the pro get a free t-shirt, beat the pro you get something else (that prize no one will ever win), that way it keeps t-shirts in circulation and reminds them to come back out.

Yes, but shirts are $5-$10 each and that cost add ups quickly. Thought about it.

Flyers were delivered on Friday.
Saw a spike on traffic to the site. About 100 new people. No contact though Sad
We'll see if this materializes into people this week.
