I must take a minute to write a little post about my appreciation of being inducted into the Ottawa Foos Hall of Fame Club. (Men With Coats)...
When I first came out to play in a Beginners Tourney at Zan Pubs I was hooked. Part of it was the love of the game but a bigger part was the way all the Ottawa foosers treated me. They were the greatest and nicest people I had met in a long time. Ottawa foosers are very special people and am proud to have such a dynamic group of young people as my friends. They all took me under their wing and made me feel part of the group. They helped me endlessly with my game and the subtle skills necessary to play competitive foosball. Foosers are indeed special.
I will just say thank you for the many hours of pure fun and enjoyment. I have so much respect for all that players that make this such a great hobby. We are so lucky in Ottawa to have the venue and the players and especially the best promoter of foos in Canada Mr. C Thomas . I could talk endlessly about the characters I have met and the late night fun and frivolity I have enjoyed but it would take too much typing.
I will just end by saying Thank-you and see at foos..

I am sorry I wasn't there to present it to you personally. You have been my right hand man since the day you started. Anytime I needed help you were there, boys and girls club work, setting up and tearing down tournaments, helping with the coins, running league and DYPs.
Well deserved.
