Spring League - 5barwarrior - 18-Feb-2011
Hello Foosers:
OFA will be starting a Spring League on April 6th. The league will follow the same format that we have been using for the past couple of leagues, which is as follows:
Team size: 3 people
League Fees: $40 ($5/week) for regular players, FREE for Women, 50% for new players.
League Format: Tiered, 12 team maximum. 4 teams per tier with a rotation every 3 weeks.
Games Played: Singles, Roto Doubles, Specialty Singles, 2 Ball Rollerball, 3-Man, Doubles.
Dates:
Pre-Season: March 30th
League Start: April 6th
League End: May 25th
Playoffs and Party: June 1st.
Prize money for each tier.

The $5/week are the league fees plus typically about $3 in loonies for all the games.
The $5 is used for prizes.

Tier 1
1) Paul, Jon, Omar - Smokey and the Bandits
2) Gid, Vern, Brian - Squeeze Play
3) Merv, Dan, Casti - Watch This
4) Scott, Tarek, Peter - Ballz Deep
Tier 2
5) Sam, Mario, ? - Italian Ball Players
6) Frank, Andrew, ? - Christiano's Club
7) Chris, Dan, Milan - Lone Wolf and Cub
8) Ken, Eduardo, - Amateur Champs
Tier 3
9) JP, Erin, Eric - J.E.E.P
10) Marc, Adam, ? - The Rookies
11) Alex, Alex's wife, Steve - Foosball Fanatiker
12) Monstars (starting April 20 or 27)
The matches will be head to head for the most part unless a team is absent. Since the Monstars are starting late Tier 3 will play some matches against Tier 2.
