Hello all, as Ottawa's representative to TSAC I participated in the meeting April 2nd 2014. At this meeting TSAC evolved, By Laws, Club Responsibilities and Officer Positions were published and are available via the attachments below.
Over the next year OFA will become an active member of TSAC in order to promote the sport of table soccer in Ottawa and across Canada. If you would like to become an officer of TSAC the positions that are currently available are listed below, along with a brief description of their responsibilities. People can submit their application to a position to me, or via email to Terry Mattucci before April 30th at 11:30 PM.

President:
If appointed, the President shall be the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Corporation and shall be responsible for implementing the strategic plans and policies of the Corporation. The President shall, subject to the authority of the board, have a general supervision of the affairs of the Corporation. The President shall take responsibility in maintaining the relationship with the ITSF and growth of TSAC Club Associations and Memberships.
Specific Presidential duties include, but aren’t limited to:
- Maintaining a relationship with the ITSF to ensure Team Canada meets all requirements to compete in the World Cup and World Championships each year;
- Keep up to date on all Club activities throughout the year, providing
help/guidance as needed;
- Being a part of all communication and marketing discussions to help grow the sport at the national level; and,
- Ensure that operations are being handled by the Board, the officers and its members.

Vice-President
If appointed, the Vice-President shall support the President and share responsibility for implementing the strategic plans and policies of the Corporation.
Specific Vice-Presidential duties include, but aren’t limited to:
- Support the President in maintaining relationships with the ITSF and
ensuring Canada meets all requirements to compete each year;
- Support the President in keeping up to date on all Club activities;
- Work with the Director of Communications to ensure all marketing and
promotional material best reflects the objectives of TSAC;
- Work with the President to make sure all day to day operations are being handled properly;
- Work with Team Canada national teams to ensure all players are treated fairly in their positions on the squad;
- Work with the Communications Director and Club Associations to ensure an up-to-date member database is kept on record;
- Act as interim Director of Tournaments if one has yet to be appointed.

Secretary
If appointed, the Secretary shall attend and be the secretary of all meetings of the board, members and committees of the board. The secretary shall enter or cause to be entered in the Corporation’s minute book, minutes of all proceedings at such meetings; the secretary shall give, or cause to be given, as and when instructed, notices to members, directors, the public accountant and members of committees;
the secretary shall be the custodian of all books, papers, records, documents and other instruments belonging to the Corporation.

Treasurer
If appointed, the Treasurer will be in charge of all accounting duties related to TSAC. This will include keeping track of all sponsorship money, membership dues, fundraising donations, taxes and working with the President to ensure all ITSF dues are paid each year. The Treasurer is responsible for keeping these records in line with good accounting principles, and is also responsible for the annual compilation of these records, as required by the Corporation.

Director of Communications
If appointed, the Director of Communications will be in charge of all National sponsorship, promotions, marketing and media communications on behalf of TSAC. The Director of Communications will work with the clubs to ensure they receive the support and guidance needed to broadcast and grow the sport at the local/ regional level. The Director of Communications will be responsible for all online and offline communications on behalf of TSAC.

Director of Tournaments
If appointed, the Director of Tournaments will be in charge of making sure each club abides by all TSAC Tournament rules and regulations. The Director of Tournaments will work with each club tournament director to make sure he/she understands all the requirements of hosting a local/ regional TSAC-sanctioned tournament.

Director of Player Development
If appointed, the Director of Player Development will work with clubs to ensure players are advancing and that clubs are acquiring new players on an annual basis. The Director of Player Development will be the main support of all clubs looking to expand their player database and grow the sport and quality of play.
