Team Absent

"Team Forfeiture: If a team can't attend the night or only have one player, they are deemed to have forfeited the match. They are not allotted any points or goals for the stats. Their opponents get a win and will play for points in a three man sheet."

well there you go. Last night by the time I knew about the missing team the matches had started and we did not have a "three man (three team?) sheet printed anyway. So Vern subbed for Steve and me and poor Mary went home after an hour or so of cookies & commiserations (on my part).

what now, what about the points?

let the mayem begin

My interpretation would be that Steve's team forfeited for failing to field a minimum of two players. As a result you are awarded the win. Since you were able to play (by giving up Vern), each team points/goals earned last night will go towards the stats.

Gid is talking about team 8 who failed to show. I did not have a three man sheet with me. While waiting to see if team 8 showed the others got going. No sense trying to run a three team sheet then. Actually Team Mark should also default however they lost anyway even with spares.
Gid or Mary could have played with IGYSRH who I noticed later played with two players. Bad. Thats what i get for not watching more carefully. We need Team 8 and we need to use spares when teams are not full. Having said that I am not concerned because spring and summer league are always alittle more relaxed.

Steve's team fielded 3 players: Josh, Mario, and Vern
