2014 Annual General Meeting - June 11, 8:00PM
#16
Hey Casti.

I'm pretty familiar with your opinions on things. Nothing earth shattering tonight. I am sure the main focus will be on getting the Leonhart and the Garlando.

Meeting Minutes
Attendees: Chris T., Merv, Vern, Taha, Chris A., Dan K., Jon, Steve, Maruda, Jessica, Kat, Jesse. Mario and Nataly came late.

Agenda:
2013 Financial Review
- coin revenue on par with previous years.
- Major expense review: two new tables, bowling shirts, t-shirts, and cash sponsored events - DYPs, point race and league parties.
2013 Lesson Learned
- specific event t-shirts not a good idea. A more generic OFA shirt is a better idea.
- Replacement of asset strategy. Rather than trying to sell multiple tables all at once it is better to replace then one or two at a time. It will be known that if anyone wants to buy a table there is one for sale.

2014 Plan
- Table diversity. There was a lot of discussion regarding this point, specifically with regards to how this will impact league play. Highlights from this are that, during the regular season teams would play a full sheet on a single table, it being leonhart, garlando or tornado. During playoffs it would be a mixture of all three. There were no objections to moving forward with diversifying. Players agreed that they would be encouraged/forced to play on these tables.
- 20th Anniversary league. Ideas were discussed with regards to swag for the upcoming league. Attendees were asked to investigate possible ideas.
- TSAC - It was mentioned that TSAC has started to get more organized. Discussions arose as to the benefits of joining TSAC and what was going on.

Nice write up Chris. You captured the focal pts of the meeting which was somewhat disjointed and funny at times. You do an excellent job and your efforts are appreciated for sure. I think it is a great idea to diversify tables. I think it will make our venue more fun overall. You do a swell job of representing all the foosers not just the competitive tournament foosers . Nice to see. I think Ottawa foos will continue to grow maybe slower than we like but it will grow.
