Hello All:
OFA is proud to announce we'll be holding a Spring League for the second year in a row. The league will be three person teams again playing on Wednesday nights (and possibly Tuesday nights if interest demands it. So before everyone gets their knickers in a twist, lets see what the demand is like first, Okay? Okay!)
League fees are $5/week for 8 weeks ($40 total). There will be a week of playoffs with an awards party
League runs through the months of April and May, starting on April 4th and finishing on May 30th.
Since the spring league is more recreational that winter league, we would like to try make the teams more Master - Apprentice, Jedi - Padawan, Merv - Omar (
) format. Although we won't enforce that people don't stack teams, we will encourage that people pick up one or two "up and coming" players in order to teach them the finer points of the game. I will be discussing with the Players Associations President and the SWAG coordinator about getting "Coach" jerseys for anyone that qualifies (as one idea)
Anyway - Mark the dates in the calendar and get ready for some foos.
