Working on it with Vern. We're working on solidifying an 8th team.
expecting something after lunch.

BTW - bring the shirts tonight.

In regard to Week II matchups it will hopefully look something like this:

FBFoos vs Taha Ellie Ken
Merv, Jon and Manny vs. Jesse, Casti and Packer
V,Gid and Mary vs. Josh Steve Marc
Jason and Kevin and Spare vs 8th Team (Fabian, Brian ...)

but it may change a bit if we have to run a three man sheet. Or if we get a ninth team. LOL

I am trying to find a sub for someone if they need it or maybe a permanent 3rd: a guy I used to work with. He'd be around a lower tier 2 or high tier 3 player.

I confirmed that Fabian is coming tonight but not Brian (maybe Fabian can sub for IGYSRH like he did last week?), and hopefully there wil be a couple of spares kicking around for them to play against?

I'll get Paul to come out and play with Fabian. Two two man teams are better than just Fabian playing with IGYSRH and then a three man sheet.

Waiting on confirmation from Paul.

k, Paul is out for tonight but wants to join a team permanently. I was thinking IGYSRH or with Fabian.

Would be really nice to have an even number of teams. Will see how it shakes out.

by the way.... i fielded a question about spring league yesterday i couldn't answer. do we just play each team once, seed the teams and begin elimination playoffs, or is there going to be overlap during the round robin where we play some teams twice?

Shouldnt be much overlap unless we get no shows. The hope is to play each team once establish a point ranking and then a two week playoff. Chris and I are still looking at playoff formats and it depends upon the eight team participation factor. We will post more on this once we are closer to the end of the league.

awesome... thanks for that...

i'd hate to be the team that has to face Merv's team twice!

It's not so bad when Merv's not there.

We mad a lot of mistakes last night, but when we took our time (thanks Packer for calming me down when I'm shooting too fast) and timeout management allowed us to win the sheet 7-5. Was very close to being 9-5 in our favor.

well that's little solace... his attendence is pretty good.
