Will Someone Out There Teach Gid about Polls?

Are you willing to teach Gid all the options on how to poll?

well you see the example you provide is limiting, once you have a list of answers you are bound to lead and skew results even when you don't want to, with certain acceptable exceptions of course

if the only answer to that is "go to comment section" that is not what I have in mind

ex: can quantitative or verbal answers be entered by "voters", or are they to chose among the pre-digested and pre-ordered options?

is there anything written about this facility anywhere? If so I could not spot it

You can choose to hide the results from members until they cast a vote.

As far as I can tell, you can only select from the listed options. The poll is limited to a max of 10 different options, and there is no append functionality that I saw.

You'd have to read the MyBB FAQ concerning polls.

Oh no I can see Gid putting a squeeze on this. You will now be polled and squeezed by our favourite senior. You may have a monster on your hands. Watch out.
