After they informed us that our 2 options were to leave the table, or to wait until 8am and hire a brokerage firm to import the table and after I tried to play the 'the truck was a rental that has to be returned, have pity on us' card, I tried the 'what if I brought it in as a personal purchase instead?' and was told that that would mean changing the information about the claim which could have 'serious repercussions'. I think at this point I must have looked so chagrined that she took pity on us and finally let us in.
