Hello Foosers:
With two person teams there are several options we can do with the format. Here are some options to think about and discuss.
Note - All games are to 7 except the 2/3 doubles, same as before
Format One - Team Format
Games - 2/3 doubles, 1 Single, 1 Specialty, 1 Roto, maybe 1 2-Ball
Two Matches a night - (ie you play team A first, then team B)
Concerns - # of teams will affect the rotation/opponent selection (ie tiers, round robin...)
Format Two - Double and Singles
Games - 2/3 Doubles, 2 x Singles to 7
3-4 Matches a night (ie you play many teams)
Concerns - Do you keep the Singles and Doubles separate? (ie individual standings and rankings) Or are your single opponents dependent on your double opponents?
Other formats?
Other concerns is I would like a format that:
1) there can be easy weekly prizes.
2) new teams can join any week (ie walk ups) without screwing things up.
3) low maintenance.
Throw out your ideas.
Chris
