God Damn those things were a pain in the ass.

1st off, they are American, so they only have the quarter slots. Okay, I'll pull off the loonie slots from the two old ones at the bar and use the one spare one I have left. That takes care of three of the four tables. I was then going to pouch one from either Sam or Mario's table.

Well, not only are they set for quarters, they won't accept loonies. There is a piece in the coin mech that is modified to accept larger coins than quarters. So the first mech I install works well and has the modified piece. The second doesn't. After fighting with it for 20 minutes I decide to use the old mech from one of the other tables. This means, taking it off the old table a second time, modifying it a second time, put back on a second time, test, finally get the second table up and running.

I take the last two coin mechs home to see if I can't get them working. One of them has the modified piece and the other doesn't. So out comes the metal file and after a little elbow grease the third mech is running with my last loonie coin slot.

The fourth coin mech has the modified piece to accept loonies but I don't have any loonie slots left. So out come another metal file and more elbow grease to turn a quarter slot into a loonie slot. Now the fourth and last coin mech is working.

Still have to install the last two tonight.

Pain in the ass.

There are now 6 tables at TG.
2 old ones with lights
4 new ones. They need lights but should be up and running tonight.
