To encourage people to come out...

that first statement and most of all liking to play ought to be encouragement enough

no need to tinker with it

I don't know, the play dragging on till after the septuagenarian dies out of strength, spirit, and ideas is not one of my preferred scenarios Sad

not that I'm bitter or anything... Tongue

Jesse - Yes, summer tends to be less competitive and more casual. This doesn't translate to attendance being optional. In any league, if you (or team) doesn't attend, then they don't earn any points.

The summer league format is an individual points race. If you can't attend enough to put yourself in contention for the money in the points race, then there is the DRAFT at the end to consolodate yourself with.

As Casti mentioned, the format has been posted for two weeks now, bit hard to change now.

It was merely a suggestion because we all acknowledged that attendance is not steady during summer for many, so the prize pool incentive would just increase from those that can attend every week, to also include those who can go 50-75% of the time.

If I had thought of this 2 weeks ago I would have brought it up. Pretty sure I did in the June post about a month ago anyway so just thought it was taken into account.
