I just wanted to take a moment to congratulate the members of Team Canada! These guys went up against the best players in the world and played amazing! Congratulations!
In the World Championships, both of our teams (Matt Botros/Eric Dunn and Julien Beaumier-Ethier/Dominic Auger) came 9th!! Thats amazing! Julien and Dom took out the reigning Tornado World Champions, T-mac and Gummy, and they were playing ON TORNADO!!! Also: Matt and Eric managed to beat the Italian national champions!
I can't wait to hear how the rest of our team did in the World Cup!

Though, I'm not sure what you're talkin about there Red...Eric and Matt lost to Arturo and Giovanni...they didn't beat them...

DURG, I asked a fellow fooser about the outcome of that match and they said that Canada won! lol. Shoulda done my due diligence!
Regardless - they played amazing! Heck- they made it to 2nd round of the elimination, which is huge... I'm proud of them - and next year I wanna go as a cheerleader! I'm nominating myself for the job... I came up with the idea when I was talking to Eric G... I'd bring a bucket of Canadian flags, some red and white cheerleader pompons... oooh! and maybe a megaphone! Then once I got the ppl in the stands going, I'd sweet talk the members from other teams into letting me paint little maple leafs on their cheeks.

Nah... I'm more of a "band-aid" than I am "roadie"... (note: band-aids aren't groupies)...
Plus! Believe it or not, I have experience cheerleading... and if other people felt like joining me then maybe we could get some pyramids going!!!

Now that that's out of the way, I gladly nominate myself as the team's cheerleading captain. I was quite flexible, back in my hey-day. Give me some pom-poms and watch the crowd go wild!

What do you mean I can't just nominate myself as captain? Isn't that what you just did? I say we have a Guitar Hero battle to the death to determine the winner of this challenge, as that would CLEARLY take the same qualities as a cheerleading champion...
