only two weeks left -- taking numbers out of the air, out of a couple dozens potential "regulars" let's say that at least half will show up and hope for more.

hey you guys might involve Jesse on this -- who knows, he might need a ride, and you might need a push...
odd, anybody needing a ride seem to live far far away from my route to TG

Week 8 coming up with and the race has tightened up. Gid leapfrogs Manny into second place and is now only one point behind Merv for the lead. Gid needs to win week 8 to secure the point race championships.
The race for 4th place is tight as well with 4-5 players all within a point of each other.
There is an estimated $260 in the point race pot. The breakdown will be as follows:
1 - $80
2 - $60
3 - $50
4 - $40
5- $30
6- $20 (If we get extra)
I expect week 8 to be a big week. So, show up on time, and be ready to play at 8:00. None of this lollygagging around until 9:00.
See you next week.
Chris

speaking for myself (what else?) it was a though night
only six teams but seven matches for us, for me the first time we played every other team at least once, losing to the first one then one match after the other and most of the time coming from behind with heads below water
the pressure, tension, pulling and pushing; stress and distress; mental, physical, and emotional strain exerting and exhausting; force and punishment, borne and inflicted; the humanity...
I don't know that I can keep taking this much fun much longer

Right, 3 showings, 3 wins. One more and he can secure 4th place, maybe 3rd if Manny is a no show.
Not too shabby.
It was good to see Taha out a couple weeks ago getting in his mandatory one week attendance for the DRAFT. I see what you did there

I didn't plan it. It just worked out that way. I may not even be able to make the draft in any case

What is that why you didn't come out??! Thought it was the lack of interest on the board, we still got 12 people out anyway.
