Hello Foosers:

It's time to make a second attempt to get some tables in at Algonquin. I believe we have two options - The college and the residence. Each is run by different sub groups of Algonquin and are managed differently.

For the college itself, I believe they have a bar called the Observatory. The old thunder alley is now gone. We can try there but we might run into some roadblocks with contracts with Howison or Regent. It's worth going in and checking. Does anyone know if the bar is run by the student association? I know the Carleton bars are. Not sure if we should talk with the student association pres or the bar manager or both.

As for residence there is the building managing side as well as the student side. Again I am not sure who the best person to talk to is.

I am more than willing to put these in as lost leaders. $0.25/game or $0.50/game and give 100% (minus parts) to the bar/student association.

What I need from you guys is contacts, contacts, and contacts. I can go in and give the sales pitch but I need to give it to the right person. So if you know anyone at the school could you pass that info along.

if you go into the bar, check the pool table for sticker for who owns the tables. They normally have a maintenance contact info.
