2015 Playoffs - Preliminary Info

Hello Players:

Quick update.
Feb 11 is week 15 of League.
Feb 18 is week 1 of playoffs.
Feb 25 is week 2 of playoffs
March 4 is playoff finals and LEAGUE PARTY

I will post the exact format for the league in the next couple days once I get settled in China.

Basically - Week 1 Sorting round - opportunity for people to challenge up a tier. and divide into three groups. Some teams may be idle and will play in a pro-am event.
Week 2 Elimination round 1
Week 3 Finals - Eliminated teams will play in a pro-am event and enjoy the party.

I will post all the details and the prize breakdown once I get the details from shirts quote.

Here is the format. This is the same that we have used in the past couple of years and it seems to work fine.
The teams will be ranks based on their tier performance. This will ensure that they face competition similar to their strength level.

Here are the teams as they are ranked (I need to confirm the exact standing with week 15 data but I don't expect this to change):
Tier 1
1 - Foos B4 Family
2 - Who Needs Practice
3 - Euro Push Snake (may be ranked 4th - waiting on week 15 data)
4 - The 3 Horsemen (may be ranked 3rd - waiting on week 15 data)
Tier 2
5 - Grumpy, Gropey, Sleazy
6 - The Protege
7 - IGYSRH
8 - The Good Times
Tier 3
9 - Freshly Squeezed
10 - Refose to Lose
11 - Roland, Nat, Abir
12 - Chris and Tobin
13 - Fat Albert

Round 1 - Challenger round.
Team 3 vs. 6 - winner Tier 1, loser tier 2
Team 4 vs. 5 - winner tier 1, loser tier 2
Team 7 vs 10 - winner tier 2, loser tier 3
Team 8 vs 9 - Winner tier 2, loser tier 3

Teams 1, 2, 11, 12, and 13 have a bye. We will run a Pro-Am DYP for the players on the empty tables. OFA will add $50 to the prize pot.

Round 2 - Single Elimination (examples provided are based on no upsets)

League First Place - $240
Shirts - $500 (OFA is covering the remainder -$700~800)
Party - $160 (OFA is adding $200+)
