Come on guys, you gotta come to this one. It's less than 2 hours drive.

Plus, there should be good competition. Just take a look at the pre-registration list:

http://forum.foosballquebec.com/viewtopi...f=17&t=363

Already 27 players in open singles.

Btw, I've heard we'll maybe have a 6th table.

Finally, the food in Montreal can be very good and don't forget that in may, it's getting hotter outside so you'll see a lot of beautiful women on the street Wink.

Hope to see you there.

OFA will officially sponsor the first 6 players who want to go from Ottawa. OFA will cover all of the entrance and registration fees.

Let me know if you are interested. Lets make it a good event.

Are you from Ottawa?
I was going to specify that you have to be a current or winter league member.

So... no you don't count.

Actually, your original quote was: "OFA will officially sponsor the first 6 players who want to go from Ottawa" .

That was implying that anyone who was a player that wanted to depart from Ottawa would be eligible for sponsorship. NOT that it only applied to players from Ottawa. My question was perfectly valid. Smile

With shit like this I have to try Wink

You got me at the food...Tongue and I hope you will be giving me directions in that regard. Also, I have a new camera I need to practice with.

Never mind competition -- every other time there I was out in two matches, at my age the trip is competition enough.

So, yes Chris (hoping that I'm one of the first 6)

Vern, are you interested?

I am interested. I would like to stay overnight Gid. Do you think we can pull that off? We can discuss -- I am open either way.

No need to discuss, my beard got white over the winter, better do it while I can. Rather, we need to find lodging -- I imagine you aren't considering sleeping in a vehicle.

What about rankings?

I've got no points; have not even played the Ottawa Tournaments since 2008, just the DYPs. Maybe the times I played in Montreal can count? How high does a goofing scoundrel rate?

Chances are Chris was not thinking of us when he made his offer.

Any others going? Sure, if even the elders go…

Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

Im pondering going to play in the amateur doubles. Was gonna ask Ken if he wanted to be my defense man. I don't know if he uses this forum or not but if anyone could let him know or give me some of his contact info that would be great. Otherwise im gonna probably partner with one of the better guys from La Maison.

I also don't know what the status is on the 6 OFA spots. I assume those will be reserved for our top guys but if one of the spots is not filled let me know.

Thanks Julien!

I don't mind the Amateur ranking as long as it has Elite attached:

49 Vern Rose 900 Amateur Elite
50 Egidio Smiderle 900 Amateur Elite

You can play at all events for which you are not overqualified.
