hey everyone, thanks for the comments and/or namecalling in regards to the new league sheets; these will be considered v 1.0 and will be updated until we're all happy with them so please, be patient and I assure you we'll have them looking tip-top in no time.
Change doesn't happen over night.
Feel free to leave you suggestions in this thread, I'll take them into account when creating v 1.1
so far I've realized:
- that the sheets had a few spelling errors
- in the dark lighting of TGs they seems a little on the dark side.
- the 3 man sheet felt very squished; not sure how to address this asside from removing the logo or making the sheet bigger (which would mean the investment of OFA buying legal sized clipboards - not sure if that's an option)
Again, thanks for your patience and I know I was giving Chris a hard time about his proof reading skills last night, but it's not easy to achieve perfection on the first try. So cut us a bit of slack, and keep the ideas for improvement coming.
cheers.
here's the 2 sheets in jpg for all you non-photographic-memory people.

I'll take a look when I get home tonight and let you know about the player order.

ok sounds good.
for the rest of you - visually what needs to be changed now that you've had to fill one of these things out?

font size -- but I suppose that issue is easily solved by mandating the young ones to take care of reading/filling them up

On the 2 team sheets, player 2 isn't explicitly listed until the doubles matches... they should have one specialty singles match, and either play the first 2 doubles, or rollerball I believe.
specialty should be 2 vs 3 and 3 vs 2 as well, not 1 vs 1 and 3 vs 3... were we copying and pasting cells to save time? hahaha

yea Thomas is getting back to me on which players go where - I was working off old sheets so we figured out that was the problem. Next week we'll have the proper players.
Gid - as for the Font size, I will try to increase it best I can; Chris - any thoughts on legal-size clip boards so we can use 8.5"X14" legal size paper? Or once they're all finalized I could have 20 or so pads of 50 created to avoid that need.

We can get legal size clip boards. That isn't a problem.

lets do that - the extra 3 inches will make a world of difference.

no, no spelling error -- I wish
the printout we got shows us having won twice, but in fact though we fought valiantly and deserved the win, we did lose our first match
somehow we got an extra win (sigh, regret, sigh again -- il faut bien souffrir pour aller au paradis -- what choice did I have, say nothing? )

instead of legal, why don't we just doubleside the sheets?

I like that, double-sized fonts!

maybe Chris could take a poll; IMO the 14" sheet would allow for flightly larger font and you don't have to flip them over. Let's use democracy though.

Here are my thoughts.
1) We can drop the OFA logo if real-estate is tight on the sheet.
2) Paul - I'll email you the proper player order for the games. Player 2 was missing some games.
3) Doubles - We need to make it clearer on how that plays out. (You would think that going vertical from horizontal would be straight forward enough, but maybe not everyone knows how that is played) Suggestions? Maybe #4 could address this.
4) I would not like to do a double side sheet. If anything we can print the rules on the back side! Then we'll need someone to spell check
