generally agree with the above but single results are way more "right out the box" usable than doubles; doubles' results require much deeper analysis to rend them such
just ask Merv about the partners he can get stuck with
and nobody notices 
just in case someone missed it, others alluded around the issue of "sunset" for rankings (ex: "...active players...") old rankings might decay, fresh is best -- I'm using allude as for kind of "brush near, imply, mention indirectly, hint at" -- so now here I'm mentioning it directly
