Good question.
1) we could weight the points in the opening round. For example: winning% * total_points_possible = points. Players missing one game would then be proportionally rewarded for the missing game. This would give Chris an extra 2 points, Jon only 1 and Abir 0.5 (100% vs 50% vs. 25%). That would be the easiest
2) Do nothing. Sucks, but should even out over time. I can't easily add an extra game like I did last year and have it added to the standings. Last year I would have played one more game with the three players (Although Abir was late and legitimately missed the first round).
3) Only count the first 4 games for points for everyone.
