- besides dropping the 3-man consider dropping the specialties -- if everybody plays the singles then all activities in specialties are already covered and this could preserve 2-ball and expecially rotation games

Specialty, 5 bar wars more specifically, is very beneficial if the aim is to improve everyone's games.

Agreed, specialty should stay, especially since forward shoot out and goalie wars are actual events at most tournaments.

Fyi I voted no to the vote because I think a new sheet should apply to the whole league not just tier 1. The sheet itself though is great.

Hey guys, just going to revive this thread. The latest Spring League announcement that Chris had posted mentions, and I quote:

The league will take advantage of an improved sheet based on suggestions from our player base (this will be presented in another thread).

The current front runner based on Taha, JP, everyone's suggestion is this sheet here modified by Jesse on page 2: http://forums.ottawafoos.com/attachment.php?aid=64

Recap of the sheet:
* Still 14 point sheet
* Everyone plays Singles & Specialty games
* roto doubles is goalie's delight only
* rollerball is now a roto event
* Matchups for the doubles I believe are based on calculation that Dan K suggested and everyone agreed to

The current vote is 6-2, I assume this has been polled by some since then. Before I prepare an announcement and send out emails to a broader audience who may not be reading the board, any requests or recommendations?

I will be sending out the email in the morning on Wednesday, the 27th for promoting this upcoming Spring league.
