I'll take it (Casti Constantinescu for full name) ...

Can toss you money through email or paypal next week when my work reimburses me for my previous travel.

Casti - FYI, it's a king bed with a sofa-bed pull out and a fridge. And if you PM me your number, I can have them call you for your credit card info.

Partners for NY State

I need partners for NY State. So far I have only and amateur partner. I need Expert and Pro partner and perhaps open and master ltd.
Let me know if you want to play. Going for the fun and might as well enjoy all the events in my package.
I like to get thing lined up ahead of time as I am a serious fooser and do not enjoy playing with last minute joe drunk guy partner.
See you there.

Who's your amateur partner? Can't you guys run the whole way up for your package with that team?

Jon Dan and I have booked our room for the tournament. That means we all have rooms, assuming Vern has his situation figured out and Jason is with Casti. FYI Casti can play beginner in this tournament as well, as per Mary, unless the new system of points doesn't apply to beginners.
Also I need a pro partner for Master Limited, Iannuzzi is no longer attending and I was hoping to play with him. Is there any Quebec Pros going down that need a partner?

It's not an IFP event? Is Mary still the person who determines the entry for this? I can send her an email and find out.

This tournament is not an IFP tournament. The tournament director is Kevin Wescott. The tables are provided by Charles Mackintosh (tornadofoosball.com).

They do use the same point system though.

Casti - you should be playing amateur since you won beginner singles and doubles in Michigan. Beginner is meant to attract new players, not for touring players to rack up titles. This is the rule they have in place - "Once you win beginners, you are no longer a beginner". (Beginners is exempt from the keep the same rank all year long point rule change). The same thing happened to Jesse and Dan after they went to Maryland. Besides, we'll all make fun of you if you do Tongue

I dont mind having the same partner for multiple events but in this case Jennifer has partners for the other events. It is nice to have a change of faces depending upon the event. I am sure something will open up. I havent talked to the Montreal guys yet.
Might find someone there.

Are you playing with Jen Caron in amateur doubles Vern? Or which Jen are you talking about? And yeah I agree with you Chris but as per Ahmed Casti's points after Michigan is 595/623. Ahmed is with Mary, so would Mary not have notified him to bump Casti auto to Amateur after? Mayland (also a non-IFP event) had over 37 singles players and 18 doubles teams, while Michigan had like 8 singles players and 4 doubles teams. I wouldn't make fun of you at all if you guys won beginner doubles at New York and it has a big turnout, its the competition that makes the win worthy or not.

No not Jenn Caron. Playing with the Jennifer from the Big Smoke or Toronto to some.

not that there would necessarily have been a higher caliber of players, just more people to play. TBH, at no point in those matches did I feel like it was out of reach to win the thing nor did I have to give it 100%, just be smart about all the tells that the opponents were providing. Based on that, I wouldn't enter the thing unless Jason needs a partner for the dubs.

I've sent the email to Kevin and seperate one to IFP asking them about the points ruling based on Michigan...there was hesitation in Mary allowing me to enter the event to begin.

Where are you seeing my 595/623 points updated?
