Just a quick update for the masses that should be attending foosball.

New temporary venue the Cue and Cusion will be okay. The tables are old but solid - they need lots of TLC.

Enjoyed my first night away from ZanPubs. I think Ottawa Foos will survive and probably even get better. This move will force us to become more self sufficient.
Our first priority though has to be to find a new home. Chris and Omar are on this so I think it will be done and done well in short order.

I think we will have to lower our expectations regarding our temporary home and not be table snobs and just enjoy the game. Nice to see some of the guys out and playing last night. Even though there was only eight of us and most of the core group was missing it was still fun. Hopefully our core group will remain intact and show up at the new venue where ever it may be.

If you have suggestions on potential venues get them to Chris T asap as he is looking.

So i guess this Wednesday it's in Tail Gators. Right? are there any non-pros coming over? and are there any brave and strong nonpros who would like to play with unknown Lithuanian, cause i don't really have a playing partner yet.

I prefer to play as a forward, but can be a goalee as well...

Correct, but it is Frank's table. I think the biggest hurdle right now is finding the coin mech for the table and setting it to a loonie.

There are five different slots in the coin mechanism. If you remove the four bolts holding the coin mech to the table and then look at the bottom side of the coin mech you can see the different slugs for each of the different slots. I haven't looked at it any closer than that but I would presume that the loonie one is a little smaller than the quarter ones.

OK - So I got Franks coin mech and figured out how it works. Including the ingenious way they stopped Canadian quarters from working.
The gold coloured slot is for loonies and the silver one is for quarters. The black plastic ones are slugs. I need more slugs. I need one for Franks and possibly two more for Simon's Table.

Mario, Vern, Etto - Can you guys check to see if you have these. With those we should be good to move in.
