Yes, I meant to write a post explaining but a crying baby interrupted.

Basically, Dan and I had a misscommunication on what the week 16 match ups should have been. They should not have been a "fun" week that it was. As a result PLA didn't get a chance to tie Fb4F for the first place in the league. It was decided by all parties involved that we should replay week 16 so that PLA has the opportunity to still win the league. We re-drew the match ups randomly from the teams that are in tier one and it came out that Fb4F will play M&Mft.SS and Jar hack Cackle will play PLA.

IF PLA wins and Fb4F loses, there is a tie and then a tie breaker. This was the opportunity lost.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, that there will be incentives for Jar, Hack and Cackle and M&Mft.SS to try their best to win (chicken Nachos or something).

this is good...

it's working out great, maybe we'll stretch winter league to overlap with spring league!

and all because of a series of fortunate events -- why can't we have this all years?

all is for the best in this best of all the possible worlds

did not see this till after my previous post

from good to better to best to bestest

not that I/we needed the incentive, but it pays off to ask

This is still not sitting well with me but everyone else seems to be okay with it so I will just go with it as well.

Week 16 was supposed to serve as a tie-breaker if needed.
Instead, it will be serving as a chance for Jon's team to tie us which could possibly result in an additional tie-breaker match needed to be played the following week.

Hopefully we will just win the night and this will not be an issue.

Week 16 is not supposed to serve as a tie breaker week and I'm not sure where you are getting that idea. The leagues have been 16 weeks for the past 5 years now, with the spring and summer leagues being 8 weeks. It was supposed to be a regular week like all the others.

I suppose you're right.

So tonight is Tier 1 playoff finals.

Can someone post the Week 15 standings?

I've tried twice now and can't add an attachment. Sad

Also I don't have FTP access to the site to just upload the file on the webserver.

I'll email it to you and see if you can do it.

If there are enough non-Tier-1 players (people who aren't playing a league sheet) around, we'll run a DYP tomorrow night for sure.

I won't be able to make it, packing for my trip back home.

I'll drop off the sheets and money tonight on my way home. There is an extra $60 for Merv and Gid's team to fight over. Whichever of your two teams performs better tonight can take home the extra $60. A little incentive to still kick ass.

Points, then goals, then tie break.
