Tits, if you are able to get a babysitter we can shack up... if you haven't already committed to Casti.

I had an easier time finding a date to the prom.
I was also semi-committed to a Team Jorge reunion starting this Friday but luckily Merv's agent was willing to drop the mandatory "Jean Shorts" dress code and we were able to strike a deal in time. OFA-approved Jean Shorts Sorry JP. I owe you a beer for this one...

Man that shake side is wide open. Taha
My belief is that I get to make fun of your beliefs. Please respect my belief.

Not as wide open as Merv's jean shorts...

Seems like the Bake side is getting more love than the Shake side.
Would you guys prefer to have 3 DYP's a month and 1 Shake n Bake or 3 DYP's a month and 1 Bring Your Partner (Open Doubles)?

The shake side never gets any press but is the favourite for lower players. If I can make it ill be shaking it. Plus it's an easier route to the money .

Yeah I don't like thats its 2 different brackets that meet at the end. I feel like that defeats the purpose of charging the bakers double. Paying double for the more difficult road doesn't make much sense.

I think it makes complete sense. Otherwise it's just an OD with lower entry fees for some teams.

No, its not. OD = Bring Your Partner. Shake n Bake = Shake n Bake. You pay less because you have a less likely chance of winning.

there lies the rub. I could quite easily find a good partner - Tities, but I may not make it to be one of the two best teams to get into the money. While if I were on the Shake side, I can be a big fish and make it into the finals. This format is the best for all players.
If you want we can run a straight up OD another time. Chris

where there is a choice, you should definitely be charged more for picking your own partner. competition levels be damned. if someone doesn't wanna pay more, move to the random side.
the baked side is a godsend to folks who are tired of routinely getting paired with the newest of the newbs during DYPs.... (poor Shadi has been boned like 3-4 times in a row at DYPs... and i'm talking the newest of the newbs each time!) ...and the shake side is a godsend to folks (even pro-am shake teams) who usually don't fare well against two paired pros, but still get a fair "shake" at winning some games. hey-o! "fair shake"... that was punny...
