You already have my decision which is to allow the win to stand.
I am fine with whatever Chris decides on this. If you continue to take up my time on this we will have to consider some type of financial admin fee gets attached to the appeal request.

Official Ruling
Foos Before Family won the night on goals. The new rules were not properly distributed to the player base and can not be enforced. I surveyed a portion of the player base and it was not clear what the rule is on this (that the new rule took affect).

The Good Sportsman Option
Play the 2/3 doubles. When there has every been any doubt about any situation in OFA's history, when possible, players would play for the outcome. This is a long standing tradition. Team Foos before Family - discuss amongst yourselves and make a decision, only reply if you will make an offer.

It was our intention to use these updated rules for this league but as a result of my delinquency we can't enforce them. Vern's decision stands.

I must take responsibility for this scenario for not updating and publishing the rules. I have done that now (my next post). These rules will take immediate effect. Please note - the league sheets have been updated.

I am fine with this outcome. I dont think anyone should beat anyone up over the fact a lot of rules and things are not written down.
We are a volunteer organization. Our goal is to provide competitive foos not spend our time on admin. Who wants to be an unpaid secretary. no one. Thats why a lot of things are not documented. I am sure things will work out. Let me know who gets the beer or nachos .
