You guys have it locked up unless you have an epic collapse in the next couple of weeks.
I wouldn't worry about that if I were you guys. You guys have been the most consistent team throughout the season.
Just focus on next week. I don't think Jon's team will give you a hard time. You've been destroying them every time you've played them. Chalk that up as an easy win.
It shouldn't even matter that you play us in the last week knowing that first place could be on the line given how close the standings are between Tier 1 and Tier 3 for first place.
If it comes down to the last week, don't bother bringing new balls. Your request will be rejected just like mine was when I wanted to switch tables.

Well there's still possibilities for Tier 3 teams to take home the bacon. So you guys won last week as well I assume?

Also, it could've very easily been you guys in 1st, both our games that I've been present for came down right to the wire, 1 goal type games. Big props to Frank, JP, and Carm so far this league.

Frank - We've played them three time, one was a blow out but the other two were 6-7. Could easily have gone either way.
There are 10 points up for grabs right now with FB4F only up 4 points on other tier 1 teams.
Also, this week we have Ben subbing in for Dan so we might finally get this monkey off our back.

Having new balls at the START of the night is very different from requesting a table switch on the last ball of THE 2nd LAST MATCH OF THE NIGHT.

All I'm saying is that FB4F should win it. There's no way that they will let this one slip away in the last few weeks like they did last year against the Favourites to Win.
No pressure guys.

You mean with last year's catchup mechanics where the rotation was altered to allow the 2nd place team no good reason to get a chance to tie the 1st place team? I think we're covered from that this year.

Clarification - The format wasn't "altered" last year. That system was in place for several years. It was changed for this year after the director realized the current system is superior.
