Albany NY State warmup - April 11th
#31
At first I thought he just wanted to split the money but still play. Then the guys wanted to get their doubles finals over and get home, so I thought it might be better for us to also get home a little earlier. I would have loved to play him in a singles, but at least I got to play him in doubles, still think it was a good decision so we got home at four AM at least Big Grin!

Was a lot of fun and thanks for driving again guys Smile!

The crazy thing is that watching the past few tournaments, as will likely be the case in NY state too, Ben is competing and beating (or getting very close) against the majority of the elite players in USA. If he was here for a few more months and played a couple more tournaments, he'd have consistent results to bump him up to that level, so it's been a real pleasure playing and observing him the last little while.

We need to step up our game! Nothing like having a pro or elite around town to practice against. Last Friday Jon and I played Ben & Vern probably about 15-20 2/3's, we didn't win a single one, but I feel like in that one 5 hour session my game's improved tremendously in decision making and trying to block that damned 5 bar of his.

I'm going to start a facebook page called... "Ben sucks."

You stink Ben! Since you arrived, I've gone from local semi-pro to total amateur. I hate you.

But I'm also bi-polar, so tomorrow i'll love you.
