Hello:
Here is the schedule for the next three weeks:
Week 4:
Taha v Jon v Vern
Casti v Manny
Mario v Abir
IGYSRH v JP
Week 5:
Taha v. Jon v Manny
Casti v Vern
JP v Mario
IGYSRH v Abir
Week 6:
Taha v Casti v Jon
Vern v Manny
JP v Abir
IGYSRH v. Mario
As you can quickly notice, Taha and Jon shadow each other for the next three weeks.
For those curious about how the rotation with the 5 teams work, here is how I came up with it. This is the criteria I tried to follow:
- teams play every other team in the tier.
- number of three man sheet matches is balanced. (not only for current rotation but also anticipating the entire league.)
I could not find a way to satisfy both. I could ensure that everyone plays everyone but not balance the three man sheet, or I could balance the number of three man sheets but you played the same team every week and missed other teams.
The solution I picked means that two teams shadow each other for the three weeks. I picked two teams likely to stay in tier 1 as they only have two rotations with 5 teams in tier one. This means over the course of the league the total number of three man sheets will be equal to most other teams.
During the next rotation, it will be two different teams that will "shadow each other" for the three weeks in tier one. (Casti and likely JP)
I think this rotation was the best option.
One thing I would like to suggest is maybe a flip of the coin to determine which of the three teams that stayed in tier 1 (Taha, Casti and Jon) shadow each other this rotation and which shadow each other next rotation. I want to eliminate any perceived benefit to my team. Sounds fair?
I am open to alternatives if someone can come up with a better idea.
