This isn't really a Toronto foos event per se - but this Toronto fooser is going to be at the SC Foosball Championships on May 1 and 2 (plus that single Toronto foos thread looked so lonely). Anyone else making it there? Maybe some of the Quebec Bonzini clan?
Anyway, this is my first tourney (ever) so I don't expect much besides a fun time and a learning experience.
If any one out there has any advice (or beer money) to throw my way - let it rip!

Don't over do it. Concentrate on the lower ranked events that you stand a better chance in. Play lots of pick up.

Good advice - thanks.
I'll be playing in the novice events on Friday and have managed to secure a local fooser as a partner in the open doubles on Saturday.
ps - too bad about facebook closing down your page. You lost a lot of good comments/wall posts etc. My facebook page for the Wroxeter Babyfoot group originally started as a "Group" but I changed it to be a "person" based on your example. I hope they don't pull the plug on me. Mine is less of a promotional endeavour than yours was though I guess.
