Hello Players:
This week is playoffs and as usual there will be a party, food, beer and foos.
There will be three divisions of four with the top two teams in each division winning prize money. I'll follow up with the money break down and the team match ups later tonight.
Congratulations to Merv, Jesse and Packer on winning the league with a perfect 8-0 record.
The playoffs will be a half sheet, single elimination.
If your team needs a spare - please contact me so that we can arrange a sub that is appropriate for your team

We collected $1080 in league fees. Here is the break down of for the playoffs.
League Champions - $120. Congratulations Merv, Jesse and Packer.
League Party - $150 (with $150-$200 added by OFA)
Tier 1: 1st Place $240, 2nd Place $150.

I updated the stats by hand last Wed. I don't think I screwed it up but I'll double check tonight.

As always - Just look at it this way, if you lose you can enjoy more of the food/hockey game.

Ah, yes, that is true, I am in a tier below yours. You did finish second in the league which is no small feat either. And I will admit that your team would probably kick our teams ass. I would suggest that we play each other after the first round to settle things, but we'll be too busy playing the finals in our tier while you sit dazed and confused about your quick exit.

Actually, 2 out of the 3 teams in tier 1 playoffs we have beaten.
2 out of the 4 teams in your tier beat us. Good luck in your first match. Since you'll have time after round 1, remember I like my beer glass topped up. You can fill it with your tears.
