The problem is not that we don't have the rules, it's that people want to interpret the rules in their favour.
There was a time I knew every rule. At my first major tourney I was certified by. Adrian Zamora who gave the course. Three Ottawa players registered to attend (50$) the training, I was the only one who passed.
Some rules have changed and I haven't kept up with all of them but 80-90 % still apply. The problem I have now is making a call on the spot I'm just not fast enough.
Officiating requires non-bias,confidence and the respect of the players
Without these factors you'll get railroaded by mob mentality.
